The world’s first net zero industrial park

Envision has joined with Bureau Veritas (BV) to announce the world’s first
International Net-zero Industrial Park Standard.

Envision is developing a new class of industrial parks, combining energy, e-mobility, and digital solutions to help entire regions and their companies accelerate their transition to net zero.

Envision's Net Zero Industrial Parks are pioneering industrial complexes designed to achieve net-zero carbon emissions by integrating renewable energy sources, energy storage, and green hydrogen production with clean manufacturing and logistics.

These parks aim to create self-sufficient, carbon-neutral industrial ecosystems, with projects established in China's Inner Mongolia region and a planned green hydrogen park in Spain. The initiative focuses on creating cross-sectoral innovation, reducing industrial carbon footprints, and accelerating the global transition to green energy and sustainable manufacturing.

Key Features and Goals

Renewable Energy Integration: Parks are powered entirely by locally sourced renewable energy, including wind, solar, and biomass.

Green Hydrogen and Ammonia Production: A core focus is the development of green hydrogen, an essential component for decarbonizing heavy industry, with facilities for electrolysis and ammonia synthesis.

Smart Grid Technology: Smart grids are implemented to efficiently coordinate the use and distribution of renewable energy within the park.

Circular Economy and Supply Chains: The parks aim to integrate supply chains for clean industries like electric vehicle and battery manufacturing, fostering a diverse and innovative industrial ecosystem.

Emission Reduction: The ultimate goal is to significantly reduce greenhouse gas emissions from industrial activities, with targets like replacing coal transport with electric vehicles.

Global Demonstration Hub: These parks serve as global demonstrations of net-zero industrialization, promoting a trend of green and low-carbon development worldwide.
